Who can enter?
The Awards are open to all accounting firms using Karbon.
How do I nominate?
You can nominate any accounting firm, including your own, by completing a nomination form.
You will need to answer a small number of questions in writing that provide evidence of your nominated firm’s efforts related to the selected category.
When will the winners be announced?
Nominations close on February 20, 2026.
Finalists will be announced on March 11, 2026.
Winners will be awarded on June 2, 2026 at Karbon Next.
Are the Karbon Excellence Awards open to individuals, or just accounting firms?
The Awards recognize entire accounting firms rather than individuals.
Can an accounting firm be nominated if it won in a previous year?
Yes.
Can I nominate my own accounting firm?
Yes, you can nominate your own firm or a peer’s firm. The only requirement is that the accounting firm is a Karbon customer.
Can I nominate the same firm in multiple categories?
Yes.
How many nominations can I submit?
You may submit nominations for as many accounting firms as you wish. A separate nomination form must be completed for each firm.
Within a single nomination form, you may nominate that firm for multiple award categories.
Why should I nominate for the Karbon Excellence Awards?
Recognition builds morale, credibility, and visibility. Even being nominated is a badge of excellence.
Whether or not your firm or your nominated firm is crowned a winner, the nomination process is an excellent opportunity to reflect on your team’s achievements and bring them to light.
Clients and staff of nominated firms will feel validated that they are with a recognized firm that is making a positive contribution to the wider profession and community.
Plus, award-winning status is a great talking point when you’re trying to win new business, and it can help you build brand awareness.
