End client back-and-forth with Client Questions and AI Document Validation in Aider’s Period Close Automation

With Client Questions and AI Document Validation now available in Aider's Period Close Automation, firms can ask questions directly from transactions, keep client conversations connected to the work being reviewed, and help ensure the right documents come back the first time.

Bulk engagement renewals, more billing visibility, document folder templates, and a refreshed header and side panel

This release adds several updates across engagements, billing and payments, documents, and the platform. You can now renew engagements in bulk, see every invoice on an engagement's billing tab, and post invoices without sending them. Documents can be organized with default folder templates that carry into the client portal, eSignature supports a set signing order, and Karbon now integrates with Juno for tax return preparation. A new header and side panel also began to roll out in phases.

Period close automation powered by Aider, create work from engagements, Gusto integration, and more

Aider period close is now live for all US customers with a completely rebuilt experience, smarter checklists, and deeper Karbon integration. This release also brings the ability to create and configure work directly from the Engagements setup, plus eSignature expiry extensions that preserve existing signature progress, self-service API credential management, and configurable timesheet periods to match your payroll cycle.
