Synchronize your Karbon contacts with your phone using VXT—a cloud-based VoIP phone system. Automatically generating work items and contact notes from your calls—making it effortless to review specific parts of your conversation at a later date. Save time and effort, but most importantly, minimize risk by keeping accurate and detailed records against the relevant timeline (work, contact, or, an organization) in Karbon.

With just one click, you can initiate calls directly from Karbon. Launch the VXT app and instantly match your Karbon contacts with caller IDs, which provides real-time caller identification when answering the phone. Now that contacts are available in VXT, you can search by name in the app when you need to make a call.

The integration lets you stay connected, handle calls, and manage your communication from anywhere, whether you're using a mobile device or desktop.

Karbon Practice Intelligence Tab

Karbon Practice Intelligence Workbooks can now be accessed from the Intelligence tab to give you greater convenience. Whether it's a new addition or an updated version, you'll have the most up-to-date workbooks right at your fingertips.

My Week

Previously, it was difficult to find a note that wasn't linked to a specific work item or contact. Now when you add a note and assign it to yourself, it will automatically appear in My Week, removing the need for manual searching. And if you assign a note to a colleague, it will continue to be visible in Triage, enabling them to action it.

Mobile fixes for Android

Performance enhancements have been made to the Android app. This update specifically focuses on resolving crashing issues that some users experienced. Update your app to benefit from these improvements and enjoy a smoother and more reliable mobile experience.

Billing Invoices API

As a beta user of Billing and Payments, you'll enjoy preview access to the Invoice API. This enables you to retrieve the specific details of your approved invoices, making it especially valuable if you bill from multiple platforms. Onboarding/Report Dashboard

The new billing dashboard is designed to help you make informed decisions on what to focus on next. It provides an overview of invoices, billing runs, receivables, and accounting periods. Simply click on any section or drill down into specific invoices, billing runs, or clients for more details. As billing is continually enhanced, new sections and features will automatically appear on the dashboard.

To make things even easier, the dashboard includes a billing set-up checklist to help new users get started quickly. Plus, in the next release here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming—an overview of the Unbilled section, highlighting the top clients you need to bill.

Payments and Payout Reports

Two new reports Payments and Payouts can be found on the Finance page.

The Payments report showcases all recorded manual payments and Karbon Payments collected. For each Karbon Payment, you can easily track its corresponding payout, payment processing fees charged, and the net amount you'll receive.

For a clear understanding of any fees charged, an Excel export is available to provide clarity. This report includes separate worksheets for payment details and payouts.

The Payouts report displays all Karbon Payments payouts received, as well as those currently being processed or en route to your bank account. The payouts listed will reconcile against what you have received in your bank account. You can conveniently access the same Excel export from this section for further analysis and reference.
