Engagements
Comments and @mentions on engagements
The same collaborative experience in the rest of Karbon is now available in Engagements.
Add comments, @mention colleagues to bring them into the conversation, and keep contract discussions in context, without switching to email or another thread in Karbon.
What’s new:
Threaded comments with rich text: Add comments directly on any engagement.
@mention colleagues: Tag teammates to notify them instantly. If someone doesn't yet have access to the engagement, Karbon will prompt you to confirm before adding them.
Visible to all: Comment threads are visible to all team members with access to the engagement.
Daily alerts for accepted engagements
A new daily digest, sent every business morning to the engagement sender, surfaces any engagements that have been accepted but not yet activated, with a direct link to the Accepted tab in Triage.

Build service templates without losing your progress
Services can now be saved in an ‘incomplete’ status, so you can start the setup, step away, and return to finish later without losing what’s been entered.
Incomplete services are labeled as such so they're easy to identify, but they can't be applied to an engagement until all required details are filled in.
Engagements are now available to all customers. To get started, join a complimentary group onboarding series or a weekly office hour. RSVP today.
Billing & Payments
Instant ACH bank account verification
Clients can now verify their bank account for ACH payments using their account and routing number directly. No micro-deposits or multi-day waits. Verification is instant, so clients can activate bank transfer payments the same day and you can collect payments without the setup delay or client frustrations.
Please note that this is for US accounts only.

Apple Pay in Karbon Payments
The Apple Pay experience is now available in Karbon Payments for mobile. Clients can simply select the ‘Apple Pay’ option on their payments screen and all the data required will auto-populate. Apple Pay payments are also processed in real-time.
Close Automation
Carry unresolved transaction alerts into the next period
Unresolved transaction alerts now carry forward when a period is closed, so you can close the period and keep moving without losing track of what's still outstanding. Switch a repeating checklist to carry forward in Transaction Alert Settings and alerts roll into later open periods until resolved. When you resolve a carried alert, it clears from every open period at once and closed periods stay locked exactly as they were at close.

Filter and bulk edit alerts
Filter alerts to exactly what you need to see, then bulk edit them in one action. Select the transactions you want to update, apply category changes, and mark everything as resolved in a single click, pushing it all to QBO at once. What used to mean clicking through transactions one by one now takes seconds.

Personalize your sidebar
Tailor the side panel to your workflow: choose what's pinned, surface recently viewed items, and switch between themes.
This update will be released gradually to all customers.

A faster contacts list, built around how you work
The contacts list now loads faster, and it adapts to how your firm works, so the details you care about are where you expect them. The updates apply across My Contacts, People, Organizations, and Client Groups.
What’s new:
Customizable columns: Drag columns into any order, show or hide them from the picker, and resize by dragging an edge or double-clicking to auto-fit.
Sticky headers and direct page entry: Column labels stay visible as you scroll, and you can jump straight to a page number instead of clicking through.
In-line search: Results appear within the same view, so you don’t lose your position in the list.
Noticeably faster pages: Moving through the list and between pages happens with next to no wait.
