Discover the latest enhancements to Billing, Triage, and the QuickBooks Online Accountants integration.
Direct debit payments are available in Australia
Australian customers can now collect payments on invoices using direct debit to lower your transaction fees.
When your clients pay an invoice, they can enter their bank account to pay using direct debit. They can also save payment details to automatically pay for future invoices. You can also request direct debit payment details in advance of work being done using the Request Payment Details feature.
Delete draft engagements
You can now delete draft engagements to keep your recurring work organized.
To delete a draft engagement, go to Billing > Engagements and select the draft engagement you want to delete. Click on the three dot icon to delete and confirm.
Once confirmed, you’ll see work items associated with the draft engagement available to be added to other engagements, or to be billed manually.

View work and contact on engagements
Two small enhancements are made to help you navigate to work and clients from engagements.
When you view an engagement, go to View Work and you’ll be redirected to the work item itself or the repeat settings of recurring work. If you click on the client name, you’ll be taken directly to the contact’s work tab.
QuickBooks Online Accountants (QBOA) payments sync (beta)
This release adds the ability to sync payment data from QBOA to Karbon to ensure accurate records in both systems.
https://karbonhq.wistia.com/medias/brisqb2m28When full or partial payments are recorded against one or multiple invoices in QBOA, the data will automatically sync back to Karbon.

Email contact search enhancement
The last release added additional details like contact type, client ID, and organizations involved in the email contact search results.
Now, you’ll also see results ordered by colleague, contact, then emails.
With these improvements, you’ll have full confidence that you’re emailing the right contact.
