Karbon launched its Billing & Payments product earlier this year and we are dedicated to its growth, fueled by valuable feedback from our customers and fantastic early adopters.

A key focus of Karbon’s Billing & Payments is making payment collection easy, seamless, and quick for Karbon customers. Like any business, cash flow is crucial for accounting firms—it’s how you confidently ensure financial stability and how you power the growth of your firm.

On average, invoices paid through Karbon Payments are paid nine days earlier than invoices paid manually, according to data from all payments processed in Karbon so far.

With that in mind, here’s a roundup of some features we’ve built to help you get paid faster. With a packed roadmap, this list is steadily growing.

5 ways Karbon’s Billing & Payments helps you get paid faster

1. Get paid automatically with Auto-Pay

With one click, your clients can save their bank or card details in Karbon.

Next time you send them an invoice, they’ll receive an email notification that the payment will be made automatically on the invoice's due date. No additional effort is needed by them or you. This means no time wasted chasing payment collection.

One thing we could all use more of is time, so why not take chasing debt off your to-do list?

2. Request payment details before starting the work

A growing number of firms ask for payment details during client onboarding so they can have more certainty about being paid on time.

In Karbon, you can use the Request Payment Method feature for all new clients to capture bank or card details (payment methods vary by region) before kicking off the work.

This means that when you invoice this client, their details will be used to automatically take payment on the due date.

Tip: Collecting these details in advance is an option you can build into your processes so you’re tackling payment at a client level, rather than for every invoice.
