About this template

This template is designed to assist with completing EMP201 monthly employer declarations. This process does not request approval of the EMP201 before it has been filed. The only client request stage is for authorization of payments to SARS.

The work goes through the stages:

  • Wait for confirmation
  • Follow-up
  • Completed

The role involved in completing the work is: Payroll specialist.

Work stages and roles are both customizable.

The template includes best practice automation to ensure it is clear:

  • Which tasks are ready to be worked on (i.e. task status)
  • What the status of work is at any time (so you can get real-time work dashboards)
  • Who is responsible for the work and tasks
  • The priority of work and tasks

The start date for the work is the 1st of the month. The due date is the 7th of the month or the Friday before if the 7th is on a weekend.
