A message to you, from Karbon’s new CEO

I wanted to take a moment to say hello as the new CEO of Karbon. Our Co-Founder Stuart McLeod has decided to transition to a different role as advisor, board member, and investor after more than eight successful years as CEO.

Before we embark on this next chapter, I’d like to thank Stuart for leading us to where we are today. I am inspired by what has been built at Karbon, and I look forward to advancing our ability to deliver even greater value to you, our customer.

Our commitment to customers has been at the heart of Karbon since day one. I joined the team as CRO last year, and in my first week, I was fortunate to meet dozens of customers who were dynamic, entrepreneurial, growth-minded and crucial to Karbon’s success so far.

The Karbon customer community is engaged like no other group of customers I have experienced. Your feedback and ideas have shaped what the Karbon product is today, and have greatly contributed to our position as the recognized leader in Accounting Practice Management. My commitment to you is that we will continue to listen and leverage your feedback to inform our roadmap and build a product that empowers your accounting firm to achieve its biggest goals.

This is one of three pillars that have helped grow Karbon to what it is today, which we will continue to focus on:

  • Customer-driven innovation:

We listen to our customers and use their feedback and insights to guide and shape the solutions we build and the services we deliver.

  • Accounting profession laser-focus:

We build innovative tools, share knowledge and facilitate connectivity to solve the unique challenges and fulfill the specific needs of modern accounting firms.

  • World-class culture:

We invest in our team and cultivate a culture where we attract and retain top talent, as it’s our people that set us apart and enable us to achieve our purpose.

One of our core values is to elevate our customers with excellence in everything we do. Stuart, myself, and the rest of the team are proud of how we have achieved this to date, but we also know that we have a lot more to do.

We have some exciting product developments coming your way soon, including billing, payments, shared Triage, sending client requests to multiple clients, Karbon Practice Intelligence enhancements, several new integrations, and more.

As Karbon’s new CEO, I work for you. I will be traveling to Australia, New Zealand, the UK and across North America where I hope to meet many more of our customers in person and learn about your goals and challenges.

You can also share your feedback by submitting a feature idea in Karbon Community, speaking to your Customer Success Manager, or reaching out directly to me—I’d love to chat.

Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead for us all.
