- Your privacy is important to us
We want to give prospective buying firms enough information to reach out to you, but not enough to give away your identity.
We've intentionally limited the information visible to only the general region of the country you are in, and broad ranges for employees, services offered, and revenue.
If a prospective buyer is interested in connecting, they can request to speak with you. You will be notified and can choose to approve or deny the request. Your information will only be shared if you approve the request.
The account setup process is easy
1
Fill in some basic details to set up your account.
Register either a seller profile or a buyer profile, or both.
2
The Karbon team will review your profile request.
We ensure the information shared is within reason and enough detail is provided to help prospective buying firms make an informed decision.
If you are a Karbon firm, you'll receive a Karbon Verified tick on your profile, indicating your verified status. If not, you will still be listed but without the verification tick.
If you later implement Karbon, you may request an upgrade to Karbon Verified by contacting support@karbonhq.com. The designation is reserved for accounting firms using Karbon.
Any edit you make to your profile will also be reviewed by the Karbon team.
How to interact with the marketplace
Make the most of our platform
- For selling firms. Create your account, fill in the necessary information and wait for emails from buying firms interested in speaking with you. That's it! If you want to respond to a buyer's request, simply click the button on the email to reveal your information to the potential buyer and schedule a meet and greet. The Karbon team is uninvolved from this point forward but we highly encourage you to find expert advice when negotiating.
- For buying firms. Watch the space as new firms are approved every day. You can sort and filter the list of selling firms and reach out as necessary. You can track which firms you've reached out to and the status of their response. If you get a selling firm that responds positively to your request then you will be shown the firm name and contact information to schedule a meet and greet. The Karbon team is uninvolved from this point forward.
