The majority of the Karbon team is located in either Australia, New Zealand or the US, but our geographic spread reaches across the globe, including well into Europe.

Who is Dan?
Dan is a Senior Consultant at Karbon and lives in Brighton with his fiancé and their dog Poppy.

What does Dan do at Karbon?
Dan provides expert guidance to accountancy firms that are on a mission to become more connected, efficient and smarter.
With a deep understanding of Karbon's suite of tools and solutions, he works closely with firms to identify areas for firm improvement, develop and implement strategies for growth, optimise workflows and processes, and enable insight reporting to maximise performance and profitability.
He has helped firms of all sizes (including those with 1-200+ staff) start their Karbon journey and would love to speak with you about your practice needs.

Some background on Rowan:
Rowan is an ACCA qualified accountant and has worked in multiple UK accounting firms.
He is most proud of his work at PJCO Chartered Certified Accountants where he managed internal and client-facing digital transformation projects, including implementing Karbon, managing the conversion of clients to QuickBooks Online in preparation for MTD for VAT, and ensuring the firm had the highest rated QuickBooks Online advisors in the UK.
This culminated in the firm being awarded QuickBooks UK Firm of the Future.
A Zapier certified expert, Rowan is passionate about using technology to improve systems and processes for accountants.
What does Rowan do at Karbon?
His role at Karbon includes supporting firms with implementation, as well as assisting the sales and customer teams as a technical expert in the product, API and integrations.

🎬 What's your all-time favourite film?
I love movies and I could talk about them for hours with someone. Movies have the unique ability to transport us to different worlds and evoke a range of emotions.
When it comes to great films, the two names that consistently come up are: Leonardo DiCaprio and Hans Zimmer. From the haunting melodies of Interstellar to the pulsing beats of The Dark Knight and unforgettable turns in blockbusters like Inception.
🗺 Best travel destination?
I love travelling and living in Australia was a dream come true for me. From the beautiful beaches to the laid-back lifestyle, there's something truly special about this country.
I loved spending my weekends exploring the oddly named towns like Wagga Wagga and Wonglepong, hiking in the Blue Mountains, and trying all the delicious food the country has to offer (one of my favourite food places is Thanon Khao San Thai in Sydney).
