About this template
Use this template for individual tax returns (form 1040) when using Intuit Lacerte Tax.
When creating this template, be sure to select the work type for the appropriate form as: 'Tax: 1040'. There are four roles in this work template for Admin, Preparer, Reviewer and Client Manager (for the tax review meeting).
Set the start date as the date to begin work (e.g. January 1) and the due date is the filing date (e.g. April 15).
The automators within the workflow will update the task due dates, change statuses of both the tasks and work, and move the assignment of the work automatically based on the completion of the sections themselves.
