This work template will guide you through the business tax return workflow for US firms.

This template has two sections at the top of the workflow that allows you to manage the extension process if needed. Please ensure 'Extension Needed' and 'Extension Filed' are added as In Progress work statuses and enable those work statuses for the applicable work types (e.g. 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 990) to take advantage of this.
