MANILA, PHILIPPINES, July 9, 2026 — Karbon, the global leader in AI-powered accounting practice management software, today announced it has been recognized as a Best Workplace™ in Technology in Southeast Asia for 2026 by Great Place To Work®, ranking #10 among technology companies across the region.
Southeast Asia's Best Workplaces™ in Technology list recognizes technology organizations that have built high-trust cultures where people do their best work and innovation takes hold. Rankings are determined through Great Place To Work's globally recognized methodology, consisting of confidential employee feedback gathered through the Trust Index™ survey, and measured against the region's top technology employers. This year, 98% of Karbonites said it's a great place to work, compared to 65% of employees at a typical company in the Philippines.
"A great workplace is at the foundation of the global team we are building at Karbon," said Mary Delaney, CEO of Karbon. "Each Karbonite plays a critical role in delivering innovation and impact for customers around the world. That's only possible when there's genuine trust in the work, in each other, and in the mission we share."
Karbon is a distributed company with team members across the United States, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Philippines. Building a connected culture across those geographies is intentional. Karbonites operate with shared ownership of the company's outcomes, and with that comes the expectation that everyone, regardless of location or role, feels equipped to contribute meaningfully.
This has become an integral part of Karbon's global operations, contributing across customer success, engineering, product, and operations. This recognition reflects the experience of those team members and the culture they've had a hand in building.
"Being recognized as a Best Workplace™ in Technology in Southeast Asia reflects what every Karbonite has built together and what they show up for every single day," said Jourdan Pym, VP of People at Karbon. "What makes this meaningful is that it comes from them. Every Karbonite, wherever they are in the world, has shaped the kind of culture where people feel trusted, supported, and genuinely excited about the work. This recognition is theirs."
The recognition adds to a growing body of workplace honors Karbon has received over the past year. In 2025, Karbon earned Great Place To Work® Certification for the second consecutive year in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines, and a recognition in the Best Workplaces in Development™ list by Great Place To Work® UK.
Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine also selected Karbon for the 2025 Fortune Best Small Workplaces™ List, ranking No. 54. In 2026, Karbon was also recognized on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Chicago™ list. Taken together, these recognitions point to something consistent: an employee experience that holds up across regions, roles, and time zones.
These are a result of Karbon’s investments in the conditions that allow its people to grow: mentorship that connects team members across global offices, leadership pathways for emerging talent, opportunities to shift teams and explore new areas of the business, and ongoing feedback that makes development a daily practice. Every Karbonite is an option holder, reinforcing that the company's success belongs to everyone who helps build it.
As the accounting profession navigates a moment of profound change, with AI reshaping how firms operate and what's possible for their clients, the teams building the tools that support those firms matter more than ever. Karbon's people are at the center of that work, and this recognition is a reflection of what they bring to it.
