Adrian Simmons

Chief Creative Designer, Elements CPA

Adrian is a CPA helping create strong entrepreneurs, for what truly matters. As Chief Creative Designer at his firm Elements CPA, he works with his team and customers to step through the transformations that will enable stronger, more focused businesses. Adrian is a Practicing Fellow of VeraSage Institute (the professional knowledge firm think-tank), and an avid imaginer of how to make business more imperfectly human.

He began writing and speaking for the profession in 2011, and has covered such topics as business model design, value pricing, firm process models & tools, innovation methods, succession planning, change management, cloud software, firm marketing, the future of the profession, and more. His interests lie in finding ways to make business more human, in keeping numbers secondary as a support to life aspirations, and in molding technology to enable creative expression. He is excited to be a part of the Karbon Academy with those who share a passion, and are pioneering this new path.

“Adrian is a strategic business thinker who has a comprehensive understanding of how firms can create and capture value through business model innovation, while building real competitive advantages that are sustainable.”
